Linear Sculpture:
The second chapter of Haydn's artistic journey explored "Linear Constructivism".
While still focused on the relationship between mass and void,
the use of masses lessened and gave way to greater voids.

"Two Sculptures"
In the early 1980's two of Haydn's Linear Sculptures were the subject of a short documentary film.
The sculptures were worlds apart in both mood and setting...
one a large steel structure in the courtyard at the Toronto Dominion Centre,
the other of laminated red cedar situated at the city hall in West Vancouver, B.C.
